The document identifies the C\u00e1ceres-based centre as one of the country\u2019s leading scientific infrastructures that will contribute to the development of frontier technologies and to strengthening Spain\u2019s technological leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Spain\u2019s Deep Tech Strategy 2026\u20132030, led by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, plans to mobilise more than \u20ac8 billion by 2030. Its aim is to turn the country\u2019s scientific capabilities into innovation, business activity, high-quality employment, strategic autonomy, and solutions to major social and environmental challenges.<\/p>\n<p>CIIAE is cited under the strategy\u2019s first pillar, which focuses on strengthening Spain\u2019s scientific and technological capabilities by promoting and consolidating infrastructure with national and international reach. Alongside the Extremadura-based centre, the document highlights initiatives such as Spain Neurotech, the IFMIF-DONES accelerator and the Hadron Therapy Accelerator.<\/p>\n<p>This inclusion recognises CIIAE\u2019s strategic role in one of the ten priority scientific and technological fields identified by the strategy: technologies for sustainability and clean energy.
